Prince Reference on Apple.com - Unintentional? (image)

I was actually looking to see if Apple still sold iPods (sales are down dramatically in the last 3 years). You can't even find a regular link on the main page to the iPod area. You have to dig through the Music page, or go to Apple.com/ipod directly.

.

But I digress. As I was scrolling through the page, I saw the blurb about engraving. Then I saw this:

.

A title from the Chaos and Disorder album. They had all sorts of corny cliches on the backs of different products, as a sample. But this one obviously stuck out. I don't know how long that image has been there with that specific phrase.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

That phrase is extemely common and it was around before Prince wrote the song. It's a variation of the famous, "I Think Therefore I Am" and people have been substituting their own words for "think" for ages. It has zero to do with Prince. I am 100% confident that I used the word rock in place of think back in the late 80s.

If they wanted to reference Prince, they would choose a more obvious Prince phrase so the casuals could appreciate it. I guess like most of us, you're seeing Prince everywhere at the moment, which is understandable.

I understand it's a common phrase. I was a teenager in the 80s, so I'm quite aware of variations on it. I also understand it has zero to do with Prince, ergo my "unintentional" not in the title of this thread.
