I was so excited to be in a new place with Prince fans. As a 20 year old boy, not many people in my circle of friends can say they're huge Prince fans. I was excited to talk about the anticipation of a new album from him, and chat about future concerts of his.

This man changed my life. I've always felt different. Like an outsider. But here was this man who made being different something cool. He pushed the envelope, and never took no for an answer. The Lovesymbol album and Purple Rain have helped me so much in my life....

Even though Prince is gone, he will forever live on through his music and in my heart. I love you Prince. RIP.

Welcome and I'm always glad to hear when Prince gets younger fans. He has so much material out there for you to explore and enjoy, although I suppose you may have heard much of it already. But so many unreleased songs and hundreds of concert recordings are circulating. Many are just classic Prince.

I suspect this site will still get a lot of traffic for years to come. It had already tapered off a lot the last few years with Prince being semi-retired and only doing a few shows every summer in Europe. But he seemed to be more active this year and releasing new music, etc. But I would think there should be a lot of news over the next year or two as some of the Vault material is most likely released and probably some more older material will surface as well.

Wow, how nice to see all you young people into Prince! None of the 20-somethings I work with would know good music if it rolled over them in an eighteen-wheeler.

Hi everyone, I'm new here too

I've already posted about being new here on two other threads, but I'll give a short summary this time. I'm 17, been a huge Prince fan since I was 11. I took a long break from Prince after being obsessed for 2 and half years and I am grateful to have gotten back into him months before he passed.

I am very angry and annoyed with all the new people jumping on the bandwagon though. They probably won't even look further into P's music after the Purple Rain album and the other famous hits he had. It annoys me so much because he has a whole lot more great music besides the hits.

Are you perhaps a member on BreatheHeavyExhale? I see your username comes from the Britney Spears album and its clearly Britney in your photo and I think I might have seen your username somewhere before so I'm just wondering

I have loved the song "Billy Jack Bitch" since I was an obsessed fan back in the day. I still love it now as a renowned fan but even after all these years I still don't get exactly what happened with Prince and that woman CJ. Can you please explain it to me?

I joined this website in 2010...but I didn't use it for a while when my 'obsession' died down a bit. I just started coming back on here since Prince died and I'm actually younger than you which is probably really surprising but...it's nice to meet a Prince fan in my age range. Hope you can enjoy looking through his past moments and listening to his all his past music if you havent already.

Hey I think I remember you. Did you use to make fan videos of Prince on Youtube? I remember there was a Youtuber named Cecilia and she used to make the coolest fan videos, I think it is you if it is, then hi!

Technically I've been here since 2011, but just kinda lurked. I didn't have a great experience on a P site (not this one) yeeears ago so I've always kinda kept my thoughts to myself until now. I'm a youngin too as far as Prince fans go. I'm 26 and my life changed at about 13-14 when I really got into him and his music. He pretty much helped shape the person I am today. These past 7 days have literally been the worst days of my life. I'm glad I can come here and talk with people who get it and get him.

You don't know how happy I am to know you're still around! I became a Prince fan at the same time you did and I think we are the same age too I'm 17. I was subscribed to your channel back then and I always looked forward to your videos, they were that good! I also had an account here on the org back then at the same time you were here cause I remember your username and that Prince pic. Okay sorry for freaking out but I feel like I just reunited with an old friend Although I think we never initiated contact. Anyways, do you have a link to your original Youtube channel so I can subscribe?

Been a fan since 2010 when I was 11. I took a break for 2 years but I've been back now for months

I haven't listened to all his music and there's still some albums I have not been able to get into but I'm definitely not a bandwagon fan and I'm proud of that

I just hope many of the new NEW Prince fans will be able to see past Purple Rain and the other hits. But I sadly don't hold out much hope for my generation because I know how they are. I know from experience because of when MJ died.

Thank you! Yea it's so hard right now. I have 2 friends who are as passionate about him as me, but we all live so far from each other so we really can't grieve together as we'd like to. This site is definitely a blessing right now, we all know our feelings are valid here <3
