This is one very interesting thing he mentions...

I saw him so much, in and out, that I can't remember the last time we spoke. I heard about the plane landing the other week. And I knew what it was. I thought, "Okay, he dodged a bullet. Close call, but it's a one-off and we move on."

Seems to imply whatever it was (and I don't want to speculate until there are actual facts) that it had been going on for a while and Lenny certainly knew about it

Yea he said something similar in a YouTube radio interview filmed the day Prince passed. Maybe those close to him knew something.

I hate to speculate before the facts are known,but from reading Lenny's comments,it seems that he is referring to Prince having drug problems eek "he dodged a bullet"=he almost overdosed

Maybe he was addicted to pain killers? Nice interview..cool to see they remained friends throughout the years.

Seems like Lenny knew more about his health? but then again he wasn't in recent contact with him either....so he maybe second guessing too.
