Prince "I'll never open my legs again for a man...." I was just listening to his demo for Chaka's "Never Be Another Fool" and it was a little weird to hear Prince sing the line "I'll never open my legs again for a man who's insecure." Chilling! Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Chilling? Really?
I mean, I wouldn't read too much into that particular lyric obviously, but Prince has probably had homosexual experiences. A large percentage of men who identify as straight have, and considering the way he has played with his sexual identity in the past, it just wouldn't be surprising. And: so what?

It dosn"t matter what you read into it. He is still going to be great no matter what his sexual preferences are. As if any of us will ever get to fuck him anyway?

Or when Janet Jackson covered Rod Stewart's "Tonight's The Night" but never changed the line "I love you girl" to "I love you boy".

Good lawd. Here we go again.
How about Apollonia singing "Sex Shooter" I mean really, who's shooting whom and with what "gun"?? "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

And don't forget The Time singing "Get It Up" (something that a woman would usually tell a MAN to do),and Prince singing "Jack U Off" (something that a woman would presumably do to a man)...lol...this is all so silly!

Prince is a great, creative songwriter, and as such, it seems to me he would naturally write lyrics from the male and female perspectives.
I don't see what the big deal is. Commend him for his abilities to tap into this inspiration. I'd like to know how many other male songwriters do this or would be willing to do it fearlessly?
