It's been a couple of days now. Most of the innercircle has reacted, the legacy will be divided much later, the autopsy results will end or confirm all kinds of drug and murder gossip and besides that, we shared our grief and tributes, but there's nothing much going on but stories of ye good ol' times I already know loads of. I truly am tired... Not bored, though :-)

So, just to ease my mind a bit, I'll let the dust in Prince legacy land and the dust in my head settle for a couple of weeks. Hope to be back here soon to discuss the new album, or whatever positivity may arise from the ashes...

I hear you...sometimes I think I need to do the same...to stop ripping the wound open reading and talking about it...the pain is still so raw, but it's one of those things you know you shouldn't look but you can't stop yourself...I'm afraid I might miss something important...you are right at this point it's a lot of re-hashing things I'm already familiar with...I keep hoping magically I'm going to wake up and be all better...mourning hard right now what was still meant to be...mourning lost dreams...mourning the loss of all the great memories still waiting to be made with Prince and his music...finding it hard to let that go but maybe some space is the best medicine right now?
