Wow, that was by far one of the most touching messages I´ve read since he passed away. I love how she focused on his personality and human qualities instead of music. That´s what I love about her and Van Jones´s messages, that they focus on what he meant to them as a person and not just as a human being.

Oh I have no doubt she means it, but it also speaks volumes (she only knew him through music to begin with). I prefer Tavis Smiley's discussion of Prince's non-music interests.

Prince was a great connector of people. People blasted him for using and exploiting people, and maybe they were right to some extent but, in my opinion he was much more than a musician and connected many, many people, and helped them change for the better. He had more than just musical talents and interests.

This tribute is soo sweet. I agree I think this along with Andy's is probably my favorite. Sigh. Still can't believe he's gone.

Beautiful, but whatever happened to lines, spacing, and pharagraph? And I agree saying music is a very very small part of him is way off. But who knows, maybe people who are really close to him feel the same way.
