Prince also has new music that will soon be released, Jam says. According to Jimmy Jam:
Prince also has new music that will soon be released, Jam says. “He really was the soundtrack to many people’s lives and I think the impact is still new, it’s still fresh,” reveals the producer, who also hails from Minneapolis. “He also has a lot of songs that were unreleased in his vault that I’m sure will see the light of day; that will show another picture of his greatness. Hopefully you get a chance to hear all the great music that he still has in store for us.”

Have´t read the article yet but will do in a few minutes . However, he is saying that the impact is new and fresh. Does not necessarily mean that the music is newly recorded. Could mean that the old music is still relevant and sounds fresh and new. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

He didn't say "soon"....not in the quote you provided. And 1000 years from now is "soon" in cosmic terms.

This definitely indicate he was the musical director for The Time's live per4mance. Someone who's done a lot of research and interview once told me TT and later Sheila's band were pretty much independant when it came to live performances but this interview leads me to question that.
