Oh I wish he released these.
I remember the opening night,took my wife and my youngest daughter for her first show,she was nine.she said "bet he starts with Purple Rain"
I said not a chance "he NEVER starts with Purple Rain".

Went to 12 of those shows and 2 at the indigo,the last one where he sang "begging woman blues",never laughed so much.so many people never realised that he could be hilarious with his one liners and put downs.my wife even managed to get on stage with him when shelby pulled her up.she had a home made symbol t shirt never forget that oh for a photo,but the memories burn in our head forever.

We went to the O2 once and an Indigo nights where Prince performed. We booked VIP O2 tickets and felt thoroughly ripped off and then went to the Indigo (2?) and when Prince performed for so long felt like it was all worth every penny. Daughters too young for this but we took them to Hop Farm to see him.

I have no photos of the O2 or Indigo night either

Thank goodness for our memory. Your wife was so lucky getting on stage!

are we allowed share or link to photos on here? it would be good to set up something permanent on flickr or equivalent where people could upload their photos in high quality of these shows (and others too)

i've seen a few on instagram under #21nights but i went to lots of the arena shows and aftershows and got no photos. would like one of the stage lit up even just for a personal photo book

the shows were great by the way, just watching the sky news 8 minute feed from the final night on YouTube, amazing memories
