That is such a beautiful interview piece.

.

Absolutely great insight.

.

Simon Farmer seems like such a great guy into his work and his art.

.

I hope he continues doing what he loves.

.

I wish there was an article on who made Prince´s first guitar. Chuck Orr.

I know a very nice gentleman who posted a picture of that guitar here on the org without much fanfare, and I created another thread about that guitar, and later Prince somehow must have read about that guitar and bought it. I saw some pictures the other day of how it got repaired.

Prince played that old guitar during his Paradiso gig with 3rdEyeGirl.

This Simon Farmer fella seems to be a very nice guy, and very dedicated to his craft.

I wonder why it took so long for that guitar to reach Prince. I remember we had a thread about it years ago, and for some reason it never reached Prince back then, or he declined, I don´t remember.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

What a gorgeous guitar! But is this guy kind of a dick? Did I hear him right? He felt cheated because Prince died before he could use his guitar? That's how you feel about Prince dying? I hope I'm mistaken because until that comment he really seems cool and obviously very talented.

I don't think he said it to be nasty. He's probably heartbroken that the guitar will never be played by the man he designed it for. Clapton said the same thing when he bought a left handed Stratocaster for Jimi (a few days after he passed). Jimi never got to play it.........P's last guitar was beautiful..I was really excited to see and hear what he was going to do with it.
