UNless that persson was with him and awake for those 6 days, how do they know he had no sleep? Yes, he may well have had very little sleep but 6 days with no sleep sounds like nonsense.

Yeah I've been thinking about this. Is this even humanly possible?

It's possible in your 20s when you have a coke habit. For somebody in their 50s pulling stunts like that would be pretty hazardous to their health.

Worry is if this is what family he's got left. And they are coming out with those kind of comments, how are they going to handle his estate,

Definitely - I have real concerns about the future of Paisley Park and his legacy. I can't believe Prince would have left everything so vulnerable..his family aren't geared up to take over the 'business'.

I hope they have good advisers. Someone like Sheila, Alan Leeds or Wendy should have been given some control...I hope they have input now but I can't see it.

The purple ship has lost its rudder. I hope it's not going to run aground and lose its precious cargo.

I somehow doubt the figure of 6 days is true BUT if he was working on something non stop I'm curious to know what it was.. A new song? Or the book??

I still prefer stories like these to the ones that portray him as a drug addict. And it's probably closer to the truth. As The English Gent said, how can you know if you weren't with him? But still, it shows that Prince did what he loved doing until the very end.

Wow, what Susan Rogers says, confirms his non-stop working habit :

"Working for him in 1983 was "my dream come true, his capacity for work was prolific. They could be in the studio for 24 to 48 hours at a time, even 96 hours on one memorable occasion."

In what world is "prince staying up for days" news to us?

If it's what killed him so be it, but it's how he's worked for years. That is the prince we loved.

I think they mentioned it to someone in the inner circle and they repeated it.Keep in mind until that report comes out the press will dig and dig as always.

It did prove hazardous to his health. I guess it's not humanly possible after all.

How sure are we that this was not just an off-the-cuff exageration about his work ethic? The actual quote i saw was extremely small and talked in hours... 154 hours. Couldn't it have just been to stress the point of how hard a worker he was?

Yep. I linked to the same story and it was snipped, saying that it was disrespectful to Prince's family & friends whom may be browsing The Org...

It will be a long time till anything is officaially released imo, the battle has just begun over his estate, once that ends, and the dust settles, and everyone comes to their senses, then and only then will the dialogue start regarding what, and how, things get released.
