I cry I cry for his family I cry for for his friends I cry for his ban mates, past and present. I cry for his fans I cry for the strings and keys that will never again be played by his hands. I cry for the achingly beautiful ballad that will remain forever un-penned and unheard. I cry for the stages, theatres and clubs that will never be blessed by his art. I cry for the after shows that no one will sneak into. I cry for a world without him. I cry for me. But most of all I cry for Prince. I love you Prince. I hope you saw your dawn.
