Love 4 oneanother I, as you guys, am pretty cut up. I think what makes it worse are the reports of our mans charity work coming out which was buried in the mix when the guys music was what we discussed most at length here.
With the Van Jones interview really getting me choked I went back and thought about the days of his charity that he set up with Londell Mcmillian if I remember, and the food drives. I admit that during these days I never paid as much attention as I should have, however, I remember that during the lead up to shows he would have people encouraged to bring along food for the homeless and his standing in Minnie just makes you realise how much he was loved for helping locals in particular. This could be extended to Harlem, Chicago, Oakland etc etc
I guess im rambling on but this is what makes it even harder to take that a guy who did so much good and used that power he had would be all alone in Paisley during those final moments.
Lets hope his legacy and charity work endures x | |
