Is it the VIP Purple Box?

The box looked like it was used to shift excess stock. I'm sure I saw someone get theclub tee I'm still waiting on .

I don't care. The box is not 'Prince'. People will cash in. Prince is the music I play. Those are his children. Not a tee shirt or a programme.

Even in his death he is flogging old stock

I thought it was weird that the boxes were acquired so quickly and seemed to be loaded with custom foam inserts. The fact this was tour merch from earlier in the year has settled my disgust.

This just in: People suck. It's really sad that once I saw the items were being given out at Paisley Park, I knew it wouldn't be long until some popped up on Ebay. SMH

So true, the music is where his soul is, not a Tee or book - but I am still disgusted at the ingratitue of the reciever. When I saw them being handed out I worried that just casual lookers were getting them and not the real fans that would appreciate it, but I felt the gesture was nice - but you guys made me laugh about it being old stock.

One thing that did bother me though was how fast it was all put together, was it in advance??????

It's the same box that the Prince in Hawaii book was packaged in. I have one of those. I figured he was using old stock for the ones handed out for the Piano and Microphone gala. I didn't realize he had that many of them in stock. It's still a nice gesture to fans, I thnk. They don't have to do anything, really.
