I never really believed that. I think that Prince was BSing everyone as part of his whole "I don't live in the past" front. He certainly didn't burn or destroy any of that stuff when he was alive, and what's the point of recording everything you've ever done only to have it destroyed after you've died?

He might have not destroyed it prior to his death because he often recycled old songs...

However, he's bulldozed two houses. He just had himself quickly cremated less than 48 hours after his own death. That he might have it in his will to burn eveything in the vault or even tear down PP would not be a surprise. A shame, yes, but not surprising....

There's a lot of pointless speculation, conjecture and projection going on on this site right now,

but based on past remarks this is one thing I worry about.

On the other hand, if he says in the upcoming interview that he has a Vanity 6 album

ready, a The Time album... If he compiled it, he must be proud of it.
