Wherever U Go, Whatever U Do who can listen without crying eyes out? beautiful isn't it? and that old linn drum machine... . sometimes i just think that this is one of those songs that nobody could create but Prince...so simple & pure. . it was not a single, tho... . last time it was played in 2002 shows. . lyrics are timeless... > .

Just heard it for the first time two days ago. (I have bought every single Prince album since "Dirty Mind" on the day they were released, but two albums ("Rave" and "Vault") I never listened to. I set those aside for that rainy day when there would be no new Prince material. Well, that day came and I cracked open "Rave" and gave it a listen as though it were a brand new Prince album.) . I liked "Wherever U Go..." a ton. Very simple, catchy tune. And upbeat. Nice thoughts. A top Prince tune. | |

I always felt this song could've been a huge hit single with the right promo and airplay. It is one of the few Prince songs with universally relatable lyrics. I could very easily see this becoming one of those staples at weddings and funerals. |
