Andre Cymone not doing too good right now.

Just spoke briefly with Andre Cymone, he sounds crushed.

Send him your positive thoughts/ prayers into the ether.

My thoughts are with him and all who loved Prince. Truth be told none of us are doing too well. The more time passes the more the reality of life without Prince becomes too much too bear.

Much love to Andre and my condolences. He has always been a part of the Purple Family too.

He is his surrogate brother and there's no question he was his most important seminal collaborator. Andre's grief must be absolutely crushing, but I hope he takes solace in what is still to come. Prince's musical legacy as it is known right now is like an even iceberg, half visible, half underwater. Andre will play an important role as a key witness, I hope he also gets his dues and his own recognition in terms of his actual contribution to Prince's massive legacy.

Wendy & Lisa tweeted a heartbreaking message.

Matt Fink has done a number of interviews with the news media.

Dez Dickerson has spoken to Fox News (ugh) and People magazine.

I haven't seen any public comment from Bobby Z.

And... Brown Mark has said that they're going to get back together:

Did Prince and Andre fallout over Vanity? Or was it something else? For Vanity to pass and then Prince shortly thereafter, I can see how that might be too much.

Everything I read from those close to him is heartbreaking.

Not really. The Revolution FB page has posted the day of, as did Brownmark, and Wendy & Lisa made a statement, too.

"eye don’t really care so much what people say about me because it is a reflection of who they r."

We as fans are truly devastated.

.

Those so very close to him must be feeling destroyed right now.

.

I only hope recent events bring us all together.

.

If any band members or associates have had issue (if at all) now is the time to let it all go.

.

I hope Mr AC will be ok. I hope he is getting the support he needs.

.

If I could, I'd send a big hug to one and all.

.

hug

Has Bobby Z said anything? I know he has been ill in the past not long ago. Hope he is ok.

IMO Andre is one of the people who Tyka should hire to look after the Prince catalog!

Can't imagine how he feels, He's lost his brother. Right now even Prince's music legacy is probably not filling that empty hole. Let your grief out..don't hold it in. Mourn for him, we all are grieving with you.

Time will help you, but right now it hurts like hell. .let it be.
