I think if there was a funeral then a few people would have been invited and Tyka would have taken a shower and dressed accordingly for her brother's funeral.

That man could not be holding Prince's ashes. For starters the process isn't that quick and also the box isn't that big to warrant the way he is holding that bag.

If a funeral had taken place, I am sure more than one newspaper would have pictures. TMZ haven't reported anything and they certainly would have by now.

Yeah it all seems to go a bit too quick now. Have they found an official testament yet with Prince's wishes? Was Prince close to his sister again in recent years?

I feel like I'm in a whirlwind, all this has happened so fast. My head aches from it all.

If this was truly his wishes.. we as fans have no right to disagree with it.. we had him since 1978 he deserved a final private moment with his family... we owe him at least that for all he's given to us..

I had a feeling on the 3rd day it would take place. Perhaps he wanted it to be like the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hey, Prince is preparing great music for us in the after life. We'll all meet again ya'll for that big concert in the sky. I'm trying to focus on the positive (but gosh it's hard at times).

I think this defines greatness and humility. Praise people when they're alive, not go and worship a grave or something. Erase the body from history, while the spirit lives on....

I don't get the stunned reaction to the speed of things. Everybody in my family was buried or cremated within 3 or at most 4 days of the death. The autopsy was done, the state turned him over to his family--the family did what the state expected they'd do, which is move on with their personal arrangements. Is anyone seriously suggesting they just keep the body around for the four weeks they're saying it might take for results from the autopsy? That's ridiculous. You can't expect people to put their grieving (and taking care of the body has to happen for that to progress) on hold just because Prince was famous and some people in broader world want a public memorial.

Yes, it's fast. But not suspiciously faster than is typical. Especially if anything were already in place (and it wouldn't surprise me at all if Prince hadn't had plans beforehand. Many people do, even when there's no reason to expect death anytime soon. I can see that Prince wouldn't have wanted things to be out of control at this time, and he could have set things up).
