So many questions and speculation. The thought of him dying alone isn't nice, but I agree that on stage would have just been the worst. Small mercies and all that..

I do wonder why the person who phoned it in didn't know the address. Did she have brain freeze? Was she just a recent visitor? Seems odd to me.

I also find it odd that he didn't know the address if he worked for Prince. And Prince being all alone in pp seems also strange, no security guards or any staff at all especially when he was not feeling well.

I can feel signs of getting a bit mad in my mourning. There's two things, two puzzling questions that are driving me crazy. First. Why he was all alone in Paisley Park?

He lived there at this point, and doesn't really need a baby sitter. "All alone" is no different than him being in that big house on Galpin by himself, or on Kiowa Trail. He doesn't have a ton of assistants or anything else busying themselves like in the old days. Frankly, I'd want my alone time, too if I had to be around people or be seen a lot.

I've read that he used to spend time alone there, and it was surprising - no security, no chefs, no assistants? How long has it been like that way? Cant picture him heading to fridge to make a sandwich to himself while he is working in studio... So is that really common that he was mostly all alone in that large place? Or was it something common recently?

Why can't you picture Prince making himself a sandwich? He served pancakes. lol

And the other thing. He was riding his bicycle on Saturday! Less than 24 hours after he was hospitalized and told by doctors to stay in hospital...!? Cant believe it... So did he ride to Electric Fetus? As he told that he bought "Talking Book" from there... How far is Electric Fetus from Paisley Park? And why he wouldnt go by car...

Chanhassen is way outside of MPLS proper, so no, he did not ride his bike there. Electric Fetus is downtown Minneapolis, so he drove.

Uhh.. I'm not waiting clear and straight answers... Probably nobody has them. Except how faR is Electric Fetus from Paisley Park... I just needed to get out my frustrating questions... Love you all!

You can find all this stuff on Google Earth. There's only one Paisley Park, and to my knowledgle only one Electric Fetus.

I used to go to a record store downtown (near or on Nicolette Mall), but I can't remember the name of it. There was also a Disc-Go-Round on Hennepin & West Lake, across the street from Calhoun Square, that I frequented. MPLS has some great mom & pop record stores.

I keep wondering why there was no emergency button or phone in the lift or why Prince did not have a cell phone, or some sort of emergency thing?

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

I'm not being morbid here, but if you just pass out or lose consciousness before you die, there's no real time to reach for anything. Sometimes it just happens, and that's it.

I have been holding on to that too... he was alone... I hope he was not in pain or scared. I know he always said he was not scared of death. but it is not the death but the dying...

me too. it really really bothers me that someone wasn't taking care of him. i can't shake the feeling that something is off.

.

they say the angel of death comes for us when its our time, to free us from earth. i like that notion we're not alone at the very end

to be honest, i don't even know my best friends' adress. not exactly anyway. i know the street
but not the number. for other friends i only know how to get there but not the streetname or
even the number lol i guess if you're always going over to somewhere you don't know, unless
you learned it by heart for some reason.

kinda like 'if u're always with me, u never have 2 call me...'

i can understand that he wanted to be completely alone at times, so no friends or family around, just him alone with his thoughts.

but for someone of his stature and living in such a huge building on such a big plot, you'd expect he
would have at least a 'receptionist' or something. someone in the main entrance hall watching some

monitors, making the rounds of the grounds once or twice at night.

i mean wasn't he affraid some crazed fan might try to break in, or worse? i find it hard to believe he
was really completely alone-alone in that big building. sad

especially since he was obviously not feeling too well and just had -what must've been a pretty big-
health scare a few days back.

I agree...it makes no sense that no other person was there...not one sad I hope his soul is resting now.
