I said this on a different thread - it's nice to engage in all the collective love - FB posts, articles, online forums, TV and radio specials/rememberances. But, the whole situation is overwhelming.
Since Thursday when I found out, I've spent periods really engaging in all of it, and then hours completely away from it all, wanting to contemplate on my own and get away from the buzz.
I'm sure it's the same for everyone - when they wanna get engaged they will, when they need to retreat they will. Those cycles will vary for everyone. And, for some, it maybe be a while before they want to be engaged at all. Totally understandable. | |

I'm concerned about everyone. I hope everyone from KCOOL to Bart and all of us inbetween find a way to get over this regardless of any silly differences we may have. The cool thing about being a Prince fan is we all love him for different reasons, he meant so much to so many. We're different colors, sexes, sexualities, ages, nationalities, etc, etc, etc... And we have such a variety of tastes because he did just about everything. One thing that should be true for all of us: The music will live 4EVER, it's immortal!!! Don't hate your neighbors. Hate the media that tells you to hate your neighbors. |

Preach! People said what they said and did what they did but that's all in the past. Long story short, if you were/are on Prince.org, you cared some kind away about Prince. Whatever that way was reflected in people's prior posts is pretty moot now. The P Man is gone and we are all at a loss. Let's keep lifting each other up! |
