Richie319 now is on ebay too and sells some ´quenstionable´ stuff. He has a page where he sells several cd(-roms ) incl. those TheDigitalGardener mentioned above. I wouldn´t buy from him. On one of his ebay cds even is a typo, but I don´t know the "original", so maybe that was on purpose o,ô [Edited 5/10/16 6:38am]

To me it reads like someone selling a memory stick with Prince albums on it. I'd report the prick if ebay gave a shit, which they don't.

A few years ago I bought in a record store that was closing down a copy of The Gold Experience for one euro. I still have it, unopened. I'm considering selling it now, seeing the prices on Amazon!

Prince's independent releases may never see the light of day again - all that 1800 New Funk and NPG stuff that was released on CD. All the NPG band albums, Emancipation, Musicology, LotusFlow3r. And what about the classic protege releases - Vanity/Apollonia 6, Madhouse, The Family, even early Sheila E stuff?
You cant find it in stores so the market is driving the price gouge on eBay. I just bought a mint condition Musicology in FYE for $4. Found Diamond and Pearls with te holographic cover for $1 in a Goodwill store last month. I have bought every Prince album within days of its releases but I keep back up copies because I am a real old school, hard core, devoted Prince fan since 1978 Save America - Stop Illegal Immigration. It didn't sell--not for $20,000. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

"There was a girl in Paris (SUBSTITUTE WITH "Minneapolis") She never answered back and now He's got a condition of the heart"
I wonder if Maryannn was his inspiration for these lyrics?
What a wonderful letter he wrote. I can't believe she didn't even reply to it...

Yesterday I saw a Small Club bootleg CD going for £6,000 Buy it now or minimum bid £4,000. No bids.

. If it doesn't have any bids or didn't sell for that much, then it's not "going for" that much. I could put a Purple Rain CD on ebay for $1 million and doesn't mean it's going for that amount of money. . Look at completed listings and that's the only way you see what the true market value of anything is, and even then, there are exceptions with fake bids and people with no intention to pay, etc. . But it costs little to nothing to list something on ebay, so these people are either clueless or just hoping that some millionaire who is clueless decides to buy their item for many times the current market value. Not eBay, but in a second hand store in my city, where they always used to have Prince releases, they only have this in the window... . . Thats AUD150
edit: We all know this isn't an official release, but still, interesting

No sign of an npg logo so perhaps prince never got the protege stuff back from WB.

I was just in The Electric Fetus two days ago and they had a decent inventory of average priced cd's. I picked up three different titles for less than $50. If I recall they had Dirty Mind, Controversy, SOTT, Graffiti Bridge, The Hits1, HitnRunPhase2, ATWIAD, Purple Rain, Batman soundtrack, maybe Come and Musicology and one more too. I can't remember now exactly as those weren't ones I was after. I wonder how much my original 1999 and Purple Rain LP's from the 80's would sell for? I won't ever part with them tho. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Glad I had built up my collection over the years on vinyl and disc, worth big bucks now. . Probably worst time to grow it more, even here in New Zealand, our trade me site has Prince vinyls at $50 or more now when they were half that before his passing. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

WoW just saw the link, still on eBay for starting bid $7700?! who could part with that. But could be legit but then again without 100% proof that is a lot of money to ask for. But still if real and it was me I would never sell it. Ohe yes she must regret not going on that date haha

This dreamer nonsense is here too, our site Trade me has heaps of overpriced crap $15 for a 7 inch single plus $10 more to post it. This listing below takes the cake, should be around for a while, as he has not sold it yet and keeps re listing the shit.

For those who can't see it - its a copy of 1999 on vinyl that had only the 7 trax, this nucca wants $200 or $149 bid for it. A New Zealand dollar is only 68 cents US, but this still translate to over $100 and $130 in green for a record worth maybe $20. The cover is scuffed and the record is scratched. . I called this guy a thief and got banned from using questions and answers. Trade me is like feebay, they don't care, its all about making cash out of listing fees and success fees.
