MY 9yr old son was the last person ever to be pulled up on stage to dance with Prince :( Correct me if I'm wrong - but the realisation that Anzac, my 9yr old son, was the last person to dance on Stage with Prince at the 6.30pm Sydney State Theatre on 21st Feb show is surreal.
The whole news is surreal - we think of Prince as immortal - but it's so hard to comprehend that Anzac was the last person in the world to have experienced it
It is also unbelievable that I have been searching everywhere for footage/photos/audio since the day the moment happened - and it came into my hands from a gorgeous fellow fan on the day of Prince's death
But it somehow made having to deal with his death a little easier. You can hear when he stops playing the Piano to come and phyisically pull him on to stage - and the audience's reaction - and Prince's cheekiness when he changes the lyrics to "I think HE needs to dance!" is priceless.
