I'm literally crying as I type this... It feels as if I've lost a close friend. How is that possible? I've never cried when a celebrity died but this...even I am in shock. I had the priviledge of seeing him in concert twice. Best choice I ever made. Best money I ever spent on myself. I've been avoiding having a marathon, but I know I have to do it to heal. It's Crazy. The one song that keeps playing in my head:
It's only mountains and the sea there's nothing greater U and Me
Mountains. Rest in heaven...You are missed, will continue to be missed. There is a gaping hole where creativity, passion and love once stood hand in hand. May your legacy live on. See you in eternity!
Sometimes it Snows in April. May U C the Dawn, I wish u Heaven and pray you found your Way Back Home.

*big hug* Don't question what you're feeling, just accept it, it just happened and your mind and body are still processing it. Your feelings and/or the numbness are very real and the music was with you through different life experiences, almost like a companion soundtrack. You don't have to have a marathon if you don't want to, and please, do not feel guilty for it or feel you have to be doing what other fans or the radio is doing, go about playing him the way you normally would, you have nothing to prove to anybody. Play what you can handle, and what you can't, it's okay. Be kind to yourself right now. Michael Jackson's death broke me years ago and took me a very long time to feel normal again and I admit this is opening up that wound a little bit cause two were my favourite male artists of all time and it hurt like hell not being able to play him, but this is temporary, I promise you. I was pretty shaken up yesterday cause I grew up on him for about 30 years and feel like I've just added on some years. Think about what you need to do to de-stress or what you need from this board if you're having a hard time, we're all here for each other. [Edited 4/22/16 14:59pm]
