Nothing really changes

I was heartbroken when I learned last night that Prince had died. Even writing those words hurts. And today I wore a purple dress to work and a few colleagues commented and others just smiled silently because they understood. Even my boss asked if I was wearing purple in tribute to Prince.

Anway now I'm starting to think what could I do that was special as a memorial to Prince and it seems that there isn't much I need to do to remember him. I already have a great Prince record, cassette and CD collection, Prince avatars on my desktop and Prince ringtones on my phone. When I logged into my computer at work today my password contains the word Prince. Prince is so much a part of my life already that nothing really needs to change. I feel that he'll always be with me.

The only extra thing I could do is plant a purple flower in my garden in memory of him. I'll always love Prince and I'm so grateful that I was alive at the same time as he was.

I had a number of conversations with people in work today who I didnt even realise were either Prince fans or werent fans but actually still went and seen him over the years.

Everyone has been in touched in some way over the last 40 years
