Prince's last retweet shown on CNN is wrongly attributed to Prince

I am the one that Prince last retweeted, benni1028. I've been watching CNN, the reports from those that have known him. Right now, they are doing a report with the timeline. I just saw my tweet on CNN, saying "Prince posted "#FeelingRejuvenated"." Prince didn't say that. I dd. I was honored and blessed that he knew what the concert in Atlanta had meant to me. Prince didn't add anything to my tweet. Everything in that tweet was what I had said, what I had felt. How do I correct them? That was special to me. It is special to me. I'm upset about this. I don't want people to think Prince said something he didn't say, or attribute my words to him or add it to the timeline of events that happened, especially not add it to the timeline of events.

Well, you posting on here is a start. Are you able to post on the Twitter account any more? Maybe you can contact some media outlets. Good luck!

I think you should let dr funkenberry know or somebody who has prince's back. TMZ are sh1t$, and misrepresenting so many things that the media as a minimum need to understand that prince used Twitter in a unique princely way. They can stop there crazy speculation about symbolism of tweets.

I just tweeted CNN asking them to correct it. That is my memory, my words, and obviously he was touched by it to retweet it and I don't want the media making it into something it isn't.

.

I tweeted Dr. Funkenberry, too, asking him to correct CNN. That just felt like a punch in the stomach to see that come up on the television and hear them attribute words to Prince that Prince never said.
