No, but I will!everybody's paying tribute their way on there as well. I just saw the 'Paisley Park' vid for the first time in many years. people uploaded tons of vids yesterday and today, and not just the well known singles either. b-sides, tv performances, full concerts - the works. So much stuff being posted was certainly expected because so many want others to see why they thought so highly of Prince. Some great stuff, and just as you say, this last couple of generations that knew very little of Prince other than Purple Rain or the AFKAP saga or just heard some word of mouth will witness some special treats.
Just as an FYI, I just so happened to be watching the Prince "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" performance earlier in the morning before any of yesterday's saddening occurances. That's a video that has been on You Tube for years. It had less than 11 million views. The evening after he died, that performance now has over 18 million views.
There is definitely about to be a Prince renaissance! The purple army is about to get WAY, WAY bigger! |
