Country Artists Cover Prince - the playlist would be....?

As I'm listening to Chaos and Disorder, I can't help but remember that "Right The Wrong" is a country song. Then I got to thinking about Prince's rockabilly sensibilities in songs like "Horny Toad", "Delirious", and "Jack U Off".

So if country artists covered Prince songs, in a country style, what songs do you think would be a really good choice for that? I think the ones listed above are a good starting point.

Right The Wrong

Horny Toad

Delirious

Jack U Off

Possible:

Gotta Broken Heart Again

The Ride

Zanalee

ICNTTPOYM

Guitar

With You

Baby Knows

"Last Heart" would be a contender, right?

Gotta be 'Purple Rain'. I mean, it's basically a country song.

I've often thought about this. I've also thought about it from a jazz perspective. Difficult as it is to stay away from all the slow trax, some faster trax would have to be radically rearranged, but that would only lend to bringing something to the party. From each album:

So Blue

Still Waiting

Gotta Broken Heart

Private Joy (with a BIG rearrangement!)

Delirious

Take Me With U

Paisley Park

Do U Lie?

Forever In My Life

Dance On (another big rearrangement)

Electric Chair

Can't Stop This Feeling I Got

Money Don't Matter 2 Night

the Morning Papers

Dark

Shy

Right the Wrong

Curious Child

She Spoke 2 Me

Goodbye

the Sun, the Moon & Stars

U're Gonna C Me

What Do U Want Me 2 Do?

Silver Tongue

Get On the Boat

Love Like Jazz (retitled "Love Like Country" just because)

No More Candy 4 U

Act of God

Way Back Home...

Dinner With Diana? confuse Although I have to admit, it sounds more interesting than the original title because it makes one think of a princess and a tragic story...

I was just kidding, i love that song is great; it sounds sooo cool. How did i forget about Dark, those guitars at the end sound quite southern style.
