Dig if you will the picture, but there are lyrics not just on the Ipad but also on the piano.

I take it back, I see what you're talking about now. It's either projected (you can do all kinds of cool visual effects with HD projectors these days) or it's a permanent, unmoving set of lyrics on some kind of overlay sitting on the piano. Likely done to make the ipad lyrics less noticeable.

listening to dr funks podcast makes this story even more less important! Prince himself seems bemused by it all. Like he said. Wait a couple of days first before you jump to conclusions! Don't over react!

No it wasn't built into the piano. About 2 minutes before the lights went down to start the show, one of his people walked out onto the stage and placed the Ipad/tablet down on the piano. Prince would scroll through it a lot during the show, trying to find whichever song he wanted to do next. I guess his memory was pretty bad for lyrics, but I'm 10 years younger than he is and I can relate to that for sure.

i also thought the ipad had settings for the piano in it. Like presets for sounds.

Some songs were pure piano and others he had synth pads on the left hand / deeper end of the piano...

so i think when he selected a song, the settings changed and it showed lyrics.

This incident should have been the red flag/wake-up call for the people who were working for Prince (bodyguards,assistants,etc).

It makes me mad,too.There were all these red flags and warning signs,yet nobody bothered to take it seriously,smh

From what I've read, sounds like people WERE trying to help. But until all the results are in and the investigation is complete, we won't know exactly what happened.

I also agree, I was concerned for him back in Feb when Vanity passed (with the tribute etc, because he doesn't really talk about his personal life during concerts), and again in April......but I never thought it would come to this.....not to Prince.

That's what's happening for me too. It's only getting harder the more and more REAL it's becoming that he's gone. I feel very adrift.
