NO! had a studio built in his private residence with the help of studio wizard Ray Parker Jr.. Which had NOTHING to do with The WB. All his major hits were first crafted in it way b4 Paisley Park was even in existence or thought of! later gave his recording equipment he recorded the 1999 album on to Jesse Johnson to record his debut album.

Btw Paisley Park is operated & spearheaded by . Kirk Johnson is the Estate Mgr. Of course it is a small staff. That includes Jester as Paisley Park tour guide,on call wardrobe seamstress etc.

I have a confession; I once called Paisley Park posing as Neal Karlen. I asked for and spoke with Gilbert Davidson. Once I got him on the phone I told him I was a fan and I asked him to ask Prince to schedule a concert date in our area, Fresno CA. I believe it was around 1989-1990 when I made this call. I was young and nervous and he picked up on that. He told me I didn't have to lie when calling. I blushed like a little girl and I weigh 859 lbs, too! Just kidding. Forgive me. True story though.
