i know many do not like drew, but i have been watching every day since prince passed. he has been very fair and quick to defend prince against the "he was an addict" theories. not casting blame on addicts, either, but if prince was not one, he should not be classified as such. drew has treated this with dignity, and as a prince fam himself, i expect nothing less from him. Eh, I need to hear it for myself at this point. But I can't watch it, and I never see a full episode online so I remain very skeptical. | |

Dr. Drew has been one of the few doctors on tv to not simply chalk up Prince's life as that of a drug addict.. so I definitely respect that... | |

I don't know if Drew was a fan butI can see he developed a respect for Prince. Also, he's an addiction specialist and is very insightful. He does defend Prince all the time and has done so fiercely. Anytime a guest comes on and mentions Prince's "addiction", Drew is quick to correct them. Drew makes the clear distinction between being an addict and having a dependency. | |
