Paisley Park is about 1,200 miles away from Washington DC. Are you prepared for that?

Paisley is fenced and gated, so unless there's some kind of event going on, there's no entry. I was in Minnetonka for business last year and had enough time to drive over and take some selfies. It was a dream come true, just to be there and see it. Wish I could have gone in, though. "I like to watch."

The only advice I'd give is plan your stay in Mpls around the time he's in town, especially a weekend stay. He MIGHT have a dance party or show, no guarantees at all. If you've been a fan for about 30 years you could check out First Avenue for a show to get a feel for it (Purple Rain etc). I live in the Twin Cities so occasionally I check out local bands like Chase and the Ovation - a great tribute band - or "The Combo" at Bunker's (some members of the band are ex NPG) Good luck!!

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
