Do you miss the Grammy nominated Prince?

I watched DAngelo get 2 awards for Black Messiah and could not stop about those days that Prince was always in that category at the Grammy awards. THen I had to contemplate if he did anything to rival his past nomination worthy work. Are eiother of the HitNRun releases going to be thouight of for Grammy? WHy not AOA - its as good as anything DAngelo has done.

I hear what you're saying..I do miss the days of P rocking out at the Grammys and AMA shows. Hope to see him do it again, and it will probably happen for his Lifetime Achievement award tribute...(if it hasn't been done already).

Not "as good as". AOA is better. By a fucking mile.

Anyway, Prince won a Grammy last in 2008 (for Future Soul Song), and was nominated again in 2010 (for Dreamer). Considering he didn't release an album between 2010-2014, it hasn't been that long.

Album nominations for 'Art Official Age' and 'Hitnrun Phase One' would have had to have been made for previous eligible years (for the 57th and 58th Grammy Awards respectively).

A submission for Hitnrun Phase Two would need to come from a recording Academy member or record company.

On a personal note, I'm not particularly interested in which songs or recording artists are awarded a Grammy.

The Grammys are such a joke...just ask Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix and George Clinton who have won ZERO.

He's won plenty of Grammys and other awards. Let someone else have a chance.

Yes, the same happened with Michael. Why Purple Rain and SOTT never won Album of The Year, i do not understand why none of his great songs were nominated for Record or Song of The Year.
