So Sometimes it Snows in April was acutally always a Prince song and W&L added something to the Parade version. Me thinks people give too much credit to other people in his bands without prove.

And when we wrote that song– again– it was just the three of us sitting together in a room. I really loved it, and I had hoped we would follow that trail further, you know? Exactly! That's why Eye love that is doing this Piano&Microphone tour. It proves who really wrote those mAsTeRpIeCeS . Plus puts a stop to The Revolution reunite he needs them rumors.

Which is more credit than he's given anyone else in his 40+ year career.

There's no way that tape would sell for $20,000. It's completely unrealistic. Maybe $5,000 to $7,500 tops. I also doubt that you could call the track "Sometimes it Snows in April"#1 either. He might say that phrase possibly but its not the same song idea at all. As for the other auction items, the prices that are being ask are really for more recognizable or iconic type pieces. The Rave outfit would kind of be one but at that price you would really need the jacket. I have a few stage worn costome pieces that I bought in the early 2000's and the prices were reasonable. I doubt any of that will move unless someone really wants an emancipation/jam of the year era scarf or a wedding plate.

It means he had ideas as early as '78 that ended up in the song seven or eight years later. Who knows what he added between '78 and '85?

Prince from the time he had Lisa in the band had her work a lot with him.

Lisa was never an explosive keyboard player, but she was a master of color in her harmonies; I could sing off of what she had with straight soul.

I remember when Miles Davis came to my house. As he was passing by my piano, he stopped and put his hands down on the keys and played these eight chords, one after the other. It was so beautiful; he sounded like Bill Evans or Lisa [Coleman], who also had this way of playing chords that were so perfect.
