The first time I heard it I thought it was different but now just listened to both versions and I can't tell any difference. I don't have tittitus but I've heard it can be a bind!

Both files are exactly the same. They both even cut off at around 16khz. Sad.

I ran Audiochecker 2.0 beta (build 457) over the lossless FLAC files from Tidal and it always flags these 2 songs as non CDDA.

It means they are probably sourced from MP3 files.

I haven't tried it with a rip of the CD yet.

edit: I Just realized you ran it on the "single" version that came out before the album.

Can you run 2.0 beta on the same file?

Sorry not, the 2.0 seems to be windows only (here I use Mac)

UPDATE

I used Lossless Audio Checker 1.9.1 on original Groovy Potential.wav and on a rip from cd (saved as AIFF from CD and converted to Wav). Audio Checker 1.9.1 says there are LOSSLESS.

I used the Audio Checker 2.0 on same files, and it says there are MPEG. i tryed the Audio Checker 2.0 on another track from cd (When She Comes) and it says MPEG.

So, I'm not so sure that Audio Checker's results have some real value...
