Favourite CD Booklet? There's been some well designed, themed and presented album booklets throughout Prince's releases. What is your favourite CD booklet and what is it you appreciate about it? [Edited 7/11/20 22:21pm]

The ones I spent hours with back in the day are probably 'New Power Soul' (delightfully freaky), 'Emancipation' (full of little bits of information) and 'Crystal ball' (first time ever Prince comments on songs). And then the last two expanded beyond the booklet into an online version and a printed lyric book.
Never liked those harmonica fold outs like Love Symbol.

The Beautiful Experience. Some of the effects are a little dated but at the time it was pretty impressive graphic design.
I also love the Come artwork, Emancipation for the tidbits and 3121 for the photography. 3121... Don't U Wanna Come?

I don't have one. I only listen to the music. I am visual in other things though just not in music. The vision is in my head for that, like books. "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -

That wonderful fold-out longbox? I've got it right here and it's my favourite too.
The Beautiful Experience takes 2nd place for me.
Then, strangely, I think Graffiti Bridge... before the movie came out, that booklet made you think it was gonna be awesome!

I didn´t and still don´t like the Emancipation album cover but I liked the CD booklet. Lots of information and pictures. Stylistically, I really liked the Parade inner sleeve and Diamonds and Pearls. Great fonts, stylish pictures. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I knows its a greatest hits set, but I love the Hits/B sides booklet, with its photos of Prince and the cane in tne autumn foliage, also the essays by Alan leeds which are good. I like the Plectrum Electrum booklet too, great mash up pictures and the 3121 one as well with its Prince, House and Garden shots. Of the 1980s, ATWIAD vinyl stands out with the colourful forest and cover painting by Doug Henders. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
