This is the one thing on that current auction that makes me feel both very badly for Prince and just leaves me with an ikky feeling. Auctioning off the actual ring is sad (to me) for what it represents, but auctioning off the proposal note/letter is wrong and ice COLD. Imo, that note is more personal than a piece of jewelry. I would assume Prince truly loved Mayte when he wrote that note, and putting it out there as merchandise with a price attached to be bought by any (rich) random person...I don't know, it's just so soulless to me.

It's VERY tacky & a slap in the face to . I guess she really needs the money. Eye know she took it very personal. When refused her a pass to his 21 nights show in California a few years ago. She felt she was entitled to one. A FREE ONE! Since she was his ex wife.
