Seeking Quotes of Famous People Labeling Prince as Other-Worldly I'm writing an article about Prince creating himself as an other-worldly being as a part of his goal to create a utopian (uptown/new breed/paisley park/new power generation) quality in his work. Any quotes y'all can provide by noted people who have labeled Prince as other-worldly will be greatly appreciated. I'm also seeking the title of the 1993 article that presented Prince as an animated flying, other-worldly being. I'm searching for it through my crates of old magazines, but I'm asking here just in case I'm unable to find it. Thanks. [Edited 2/28/16 19:41pm]

Do you have access to any old issues of Uptown magazine? They had some great articles back in the day and you might find exactly what you´re looking for in them. One article called "The Prince of Allusions" was very memorable regarding your topic. There was also an old cartoon in Mad magazine in the mid 80s that compared Prince´s energy level to that of a nuclear power plant. But I really don´t remember the issue´s number or year. Maybe Google can help. Many celebrities of the mid 80s and beyond attributed otherworldly qualitites to Prince, calling his music medicine, saying he was "different and special", but most of those celebrities are no longer in the spotlight these days. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

yeah I'm having a debate with a friend on Prince vs Paul McCartney. I need the source of the one where McCartney says "I could never do what he can do" Good morning Ladies & Gentlemen,

* I'm not sure about the McCartney reference, but Robert Plant said something to that effect during the MTV broadcast of the Purple Rain Movie premiere.

I remember the magazine Creem...ha! Remember that magazine from the 80's, anybody? It was a rock magazine. It had Prince on the cover in like 1984 or 1984 and the name of the article was "Goodbye Earthlings!"
That's the only otherworldly reference that I remember!
