Thanks for the responses The results will be made available in the form of a video detailing the responses. There will be a good couple of weeks for everyone on different platforms to submit their responses.

I should make clear this is not connected to Prince directly in any way and is on behalf of NightChild Reviews and with a little help from a few helpful unnamed people in spreading the word.

Enjoyed the survey, would have liked to credit best Prince band as the lineup with Dez on guitar (dirty mind-controversy-1999 era), sorta pre Revolution, post-Gayle era, but do not think option available, though I guess they were credited on 1999, pre Wendy

With so many comments I've seen over the years about Prince's business decisions on his music, I've always thought that orgers could get together to poll fans to see what direction they would like to see him go. Not that he'd change his choices on account of fans, but if he's looking to increase his commercial revenues, he may well find value in the results of this survey as it would show what most fans are willing to pay for.

I'm honored to see my podcast (Purple Knights) listed in the survey, although I doubt many people have heard of it. I've kept it on hiatus for the past 18 months or so, but even before that I had never mentioned it here on the Org for fear of getting made fun of over my voice.

i went through the survey and just one thing, about which band you like the best. there were 2 very different npg's in the 90s. the first one through to early 96 with a very different band from 96 on. would be nice to see the 2 options.

I was going to do it but stopped when I couldn't find Jill Jones on the list of associated acts. Could you add her in, please?

I can't believe I omitted Jill! I will add her name but I will have to do in the small Hours USA time (Around 7am UK time) as any changes made whilst someone is completing a survey stops their entry from being submitted. Great spot 'though, many apologies.

I htink you make a really good point and, of cousre, the NPG has changed over time and was quite different after 1996. The pre-1996 band was a very popular era. Unfortunately I can't change that option as it would distort any reponses given on that subject but I will very much keep that in mind for any further surveys. You do make a very valid point.

Thanks for all the suggestions, food for thought. With the Prince reviewers simply skip the question and it counts as none. I must admit I always thought of Wendy & Lisa with the Revolution but you make a great point, they will be added in the next 24 hours. Country of origin is a good idea which I will add in any future surveys. Thanks for the suggestions

Putting 53 albums in order is hard

I only charted the 15 or so I listen to... all the other dross just stayed on the left " />

It took me bloody ages to put them in order, i was daft enough to do the lot! I didnt realise it was for nightchild. I wouldn't have bothered if i would have realized.

I took the time to do all 53 too, but I wouldn't have added compilations like The Very Best of Prince or The Hits to the list myself.

Just to clarify if you only wish to put a certain amount of albums in order that is perfectly fine. I have updated the question to make that clear. A number of people have only entered their top 10/15 etc. Obviously the more detail the better but all data is gratefully received.
