accurate Art Official Cage verse ? The best guess I've seen for this is:
I woke up in the city in a bit of a rage
But "tought" is not in Merriam Webster's or even referenced credibly in the urban dictionary for slang which Prince often uses. And it's unusual for Prince to be unnecessarily redundant, given that he does have a remarkable vocabularly. So "tot by tot" (child/student by child/student) seems to make a lot more sense in this context.
I woke up in the city in a bit of a rage
Any better suggestions? [Edited 2/17/16 20:53pm]

"I woke up in the city in a bit of a rage Determined to free my mind from this artificial cage Doctor, doctor if you start from an early age a place in heaven far off in the future"
Originally I kept hearing "doctor, doctor".
