I realize that Prince has probably had more important things on his mind than $ (ie: his soul, health, sanity, musicology, artistict integrity, sex, being an activist and role model, etc), but he clearly could have held tight to most of this AND made a sh!t load of $ if he'd have taken the MJ, Bono, Madge, Kanye, JayZ/QueenB, RiRi route and shovelled out a more consistent stream of money maker hits.

He'd have enough $ to set up that charter school he once mentioned and done a lot more for more artists as a trailblazer and leader. And he'd also have colorized the top 10-15 top net worth music artists and been more of a Midas mogul like O. Instead of battling and railing against the industry, he could/should rule it.

Nah.

A music artist is generally a bottomfeeder in the entertainment industry. I can't see it.
