What do think of this playlist? 1. Erotic City 2. Scarlet Pussy 3. Love Or $ 4. Shockadelica 5. La-La-La, Hee-Hee-Hee 6. She's Always In My Hair 7. Girl 8. Five (Madhouse) 9. Feel U Up (Long Stroke) 10. Good Love 11. Can't Stop This Feeling I Got 12. We Can Funk 13. Segue (from Love Symbol) 14. Old Friends 4 Sale 15. There's A Riot Goin On' (4 seconds of silence) 16. Rockhard In A Funky Place 17. Outro (24)
On a single disc. I can't tell whether or not to keep Can't Stop + WCF or replace it with the Hot Thing Remix.
Really wanted the Mountains 12" and Wonderful Ass on it, but couldn't make them work. It's flawless up through Feel U Up. And the segue through the outro is great too.

Leave the gun take the cannoli. Actually to answer your question, can't stop... and we can funk is better than hot thing. I like a lot of the funky Camillesque tracks. Is the symbol segue any in particular or all of them?

It's the one where the interviewer says she's recording and he hangs up. Goes great into Old Friends 4 Sale. And yeah that's kind of the theme. I always thought those first few tracks would make a killer album. The rest are there to component them. And Girl works surprisingly well where it's at. Hot Thing flows pretty well in the place of Can't stop + We Can Funk, only cuz that synth really fits the vibe of the CD. Feel u up and good love are really vibrant so when hot thing cuts on it sounds sick, even though it's not my favourite song.

Too upbeat for my taste, i would like to see 7, and more ballads or midtempos

Fabulous! Regarding CSTFIG + WCF vs. HT remix, go with your gut and what you like of course. But I do think the former two are a better fit with all the other selections on your playlist. "Hot Thing" remix comes off as being much more commercial sounding compared to all the other songs you picked. Nothing wrong with that, it just seems to stick out like a sore thumb to me for that reason. But either way you go, that's a playlist I'd have a great time listening to.
