Don't think so , you would have to take out all the lyrics for a clean version lol

I just mean one without curse words. It can be about literally anything, we just can't have curse words air.

It was released to radio... I don't think there are "bad" words in the single version. Are there?

MuchMusic played the video without editing back in the day - I'm sure your college station can take it.

Hello

.

There are two different censored versions - I've listed just where they are on CD:

.

1. Gett Off (Censored Album version)

Track 1. USA CD Single. 9 40138-2. Made in the USA.

.
2. Gett Off (UK Single Remix Edit)

Track 1. USA Promo CD Single. PRO-CD-4977. Made in the USA.

Track 1. UK CD Single. W0056CD. Made in Germany.

Track 13. The Crown Jewels (Promo CD). SAM1037. Made in Germany.

.

All compilation albums use the standard album version except for the Crown Jewels promo cd.

.

Cheers.

lol lol lol lol

Gett Off has no swears words (Except ass), there is sexual inuendo a plenty though.

Sexy MF on the other hand....

although there are numerous clean/censored versions of that song.

He also says "Shit, U ain't got no underwear on" in the extended version.

oh yeah he does! but i think the sexual references are what the OP is talking about, although it rather destroys the song if you censor all the rude bits - THERE WOULDN"T BE MUCH OF A SONG LEFT!!!

Totally unnecessary. I hate when artists release so-called "clean versions". I cringe when I hear them.

US maxi has the "clean" radio version.

honestly, though, the word they censored is one of the least "dirty" parts of the song, even in its edit form.

In the beginning Tony M says "Fuck Me".

Lol, I've already burned "Head" so I'm gonna play it. I must expose my peer to the greatness of the Purple One.

Wasn't there a live version on one of the Ahdio shows that had the '23 scriptures' bullshit? Or was that on 'It Ain't Over?'

I know I've heard one. I don't want to ever hear it again, so I'm asking & not tracking it down myself.

You could play Mother Popcorn by James Brown instead.
Grits and gravy, cheese eggs and jam...
Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine and a side order of ham.

i remember a radio friendly version where they cut out any profanity like "ass" and p,ay the word backwards but unsure of how to get a copy seeing that things like that are playable these days. pretty sure it was the film clip version.

I'm trying to play Prince for an hour long every Saturday on my college's radio station and "Gett Off" is one of my favorite songs.

there is a version but not so sure on how to get that copy. there is definitely a clean cut of the song.
