I can't say the 2 for "Plectrum Electrum", I listened to it one time and put it on the shelf so I've got no idea.

WOw, Screwdriver gets 4 out of 4 for worst track on HNR2 so far...I wonder if that is due to the fact it's the only song thathas a different sound/feel on the album...Too rocky for it...

To me it is simply a bad tune, one of the worst P released in the last years.

A little better the remix, but nothing to remember about.

I like Screwdriver! I agree it doesn't really fit on Phase 2 but I think it's a decent little song.

Art Official Age - Best: The Gold Standard, Worst: Funknroll (Don't really count Affirmations as songs) - Overall, a very good album -8.5/10

Plectrum Electrum - Best: Anotherlove, Worst: Boytrouble, by far the worst song he has released since 1996 and barely a bimbo spotlight track. - Overall, a very average and unexciting album. - 6/10

Phase 1 - Best: Hardrocklover, Worst: Several tracks, Ain't about to stop, Like a mack (Shitty rap like tracks with shit hopper guests)- Overall, a very poor album with 3 good songs. - 4/10

Phase 2 - Best: Stare/Revelation - hardly anything in it, both are perfect, Worst - Look at me, Look at u - still okay song, but a bit too jazzique and just a song on this masterpiece, - Overall, his best album in 20 years and a true classic. - 9/10

Statistics on this are always nice...!

Crazy to me that anyone could pick "June" as the worst song on any album, but glad to see some pick it as the best, too. And yeah, Million Dollar Show is thankfully easy to skip, being at the start of the album, although I only started skipping it recently.

I am not the Thread starter, but have compiled stats so far. Interesting lot, some songs feature on both lists of best and worst. Some people also did multiple songs and I have counted, one person chose 10 songs off Phase 2 as best, so gave them all a mark each.

Generally the 2 lesser of the 4 albums (PLE and Phase 1) garnered the more predictable response with clear winners (Anotherlove and 1000 xs and os) and losers (Boytrouble and Aint about to stop), whereas the better albums gained a more mixed response. Anotherlove was a universally popular choice and Boytrouble stands out as a very unpopular song and choice. Once we get at least 10 more proper responses, it will be interesting to see how these trends pan out further. So far it is obvious that orgers are aware of what counts as a superb Prince song and what is really substandard filler on his recent albums.

Whereas the better albums like AOA and phase 2 have so many high quality songs, it will leave the fan spoiled for choice, when they can only choose one and many have decided that one is never enough, so you get these close shaves, on phase 2 one song got 5 votes and 2 more got 4 each, so more repsonses could make the winner anyone of these and also the songs that got 2 votes should not be discounted. One person gave 10 tracks on the album a best each which also testifies to the quality of music on this album.
