I just realized some of my favorite parts of his songs is when he messes around with the order background vocal/lead vocal.

-The second verse of ANOTHERLOVERHOLEINYOHEAD

-3rd verse of HELLO ( I am not afraid....)

-Love Thy Will Be Done

I guess some would say Forever In My Life is the GOAT but that was by accident.

What other known things he does that you like that spans over several songs.

This is fucking creepy. I've been thinking about starting a thread exactly like this before. Well, for me it's the second verse in "She's always in my hair" when he sings "and even if I hit the wrong notes" in higher tempo, that's funky as hell. And I just love love the backup voice in "A love Bizarre", when he sings in the third verse "Weeeeeeeee all want the stuff /.../"

I always loved the messing with the lead backup , particularly in anotherlover... and hello

I like what he does in songs like superfunkycalifragisexy and a lot of time songs were he just holds onto a keyboard note or chord and sustains it.
