oh but you got to couple this with viewing Sheila E's performance that same night of The Glamorous Life... even tho they jacked up Eddie M's sax mic the glow in the dark drum sticks brought the house dowwwn.

by the time Prince hit the stage, there was absolutely no doubt who owned the night.

I haven't seen that performance since that night in 1985. I wish I could see that again.

Me too! That and the Oscars performance! I was waiting to see a clip of it in the recent Oscars show when they showed clips of all the performances of movie songs. I thought, man, they really have like blacklisted him or something. That's crappy.

Anyway, yeah, I WISH I had a vcr then to have recorded those two performances! But I only have like a small clip of the AMA performance, love the colors and the sound of ALL the instruments! The outfits were beautiful!

I don't know, to look for things like this on Kazaa...it just not as fun as trading or hunting down rare footage in shops or through friends.

I still compare modern bands and just find them so BLAND. Nu-Metal, Hip Hop Bands (The Roots)...Lenny Kravitz...nothing there. Just safe and "cool" and underdeveloped.

If you look back @ the entire show,everyone lip-SYNC'd except for P. The look/sound was so different from everything @ the time.When I see that performance I understand why alot of people got hooked.

I Enjoyed His Guitar Playing that Night more than anything else.I wasn't feeling the VOcals but His Playing on the Guitar was as Raw as His Attitude that Night.
