Does anyone know if there's likely to be a physical CD or vinyl release of Phase 2? Have searched usual places and couldn't find anything.

if phase one sold around 10,000 worldwide a new physical release

is pointless.when his new albums debuts in the 70s on the BB200..

Highly doubt there will be a physical release

I fell for it with the release of Plectrum Electrum and Art Official Age.... Preordered the CDs (2 sales) - then bought the digital from preorder on Itunes (2 more sales) so I could listen to them right away.. I hate to pay for digital downloads and prefer physical products. The only prince albums I refused to buy are AOA and HNR Phase One, because they're horrible. Phase Two is a MUCH better album and I would love to buy it on CD, but I can't.

Phase 2 is horrible.. imo...

I still would like to buy it on CD/ and vinyl because I collect...

But lets face, 7.000 copies sold of Phase 1,

Prince's career is officially declared dead.

Is it really that difficult for an artist like P and other with an established "not too young" fanbase to autoproduce a limited edition CD release of an album (5.000 or 10.000 unit) and to sell it worldwilde directly on line or maybe via Amazon (to say)?!?!?!?

As far as I know, the cost to make them is 1/20 than the profit.

Didn't Prince mention before Xmas that Warner's had HitnRun II - I wonder if, it being released on Tidal, that it has anytihng to do with no physical release. Like, wouldn't this have annoyed Warner??

Yes... Many people did. He was on twitter over a week ago, answering those questions. All those tweets have since been deleted.

WBR "had the record" because they have got "first dibs" rights on his work while he is under contract with them. Obviously they refused HNR-P2 (as well as HNR-P1) which allowed Prince to release it through other channels.

He's been tweeting (and since deleted) that there will be news in 10 hours on Phase 2 CD, when you can buy Ruff Enuff and details for the 21st....
