Just watched the PARADE LIVE Detroit show and I noticed that he never played guitar the whole show... Was this the first concert he never played the guitar?

Any reason for this?

You are correct he does not play any guitar in the video. It's not the complete show though. I assume he did play guitar on Purple Rain that night but that was about it. I did not attend that show but did attend the show at the Detroit Masonic the night before and that was about the only time he played it. I think he played very little that tour. With the setlist there really wasn't the need I suppose. He did have Mico and Wendy both playing too.

Whats out there on the net isnt the complete show.

He played guitar in Purple Rain at least.
