I think I would have prefered Boyfriend or Ain't Gonna Miss U.

Da Bourgeoisie fits in perfectly, but it's not the greatest song ever, so I'd rather leave it out. Boyfriend would have been a perfect fit BUT the vocals desperately need re recording and the lyrics need improving...

Yes. Hated this when it came out, but now I actually quite enjoy this lazy funk track. It's similar to the stripped-down funk of Stare but much stronger. It would have been a highlight of Phase 2.

Me too but they have drum machines and I think that's y they've been discarted immediately: everything is live drums.

I'd love Phase 3 to contain them and other electrofunk jams with the Hornheads nod

I never really cared for it so I don't miss it. On the other hand I didn't care much for Groovy Potential either and rediscovering it in the context of an album made me realize it's an absolute gem, a very complex and beautiful track. I'd totally missed how brilliant it was and that's y I really prefer albums to orphan songs.

Maybe Da Bourgeoisie will be on Phase 3, 4 or 5.

There are apparently 3 versions of Boyfriend. I'm not sure if the drums were rerecorded, but the voocals definitley were.

I knew of the released one and an instrumental version only (not just the vocal version's instrumental but a truly different mix). I didn't know a rerecorded vocal version existed. What's your source?

I really enjoy this one. I know the lyrics are controversial, but it's a very strong track in my opinion.

Boyfriend, to me was a very weak, half-baked demo. If there is an improved version, would love to hear it, cuz the regular one is poor.

I've never understood the love for Ain't Gonna Miss U. It's such a lazy, underdeveloped track. It sounds like something so bad it got left off The Chocolate Invasion.

Da Bourgeoisie is funky but a little too simple. Maybe a bit half-baked.

Da Bourgeoisie is a cool little song which probably wouldn't have been out of place.
.
Could maybe say the same about Ain't Gonna Miss U and Same Page Different Book as well. I quite like both of them. Even Shelbys rap on Same Page confused
.
Don't like Boyfriend though, embarrassing lyrics and vocals

Common denominator in all the songs is LOVE. With understanding its never lost.

I also would really like to see Bambi 2013 on an album: out of all 3 studio takes on it (79, 93, 13) I think it's by far the best: very dark, intense and agressive.

It was, in fact, Bambi 2012, my bad. See December 31, 2012, on my discography. It's called "Bambi (Live)" but is in fact a studio cut (but recorded in one take).

If u're talking about The Undertaker (which BTW wasn't a live but studio recording), no, it was a new recording with 3EG.
