2 bands 2 stages 1 man for 1 night. prince and the revolution with The NPG royal family would you attend this concert? On stage 1 Prince opening up with the revolution playing all the songs that he recorded with the revolution then he have an intermission as he always does after the intermission he opens up on stage 2 with the NPG playing all the songs he recorded with new power generation. then for an encore both stages come together as 1 then have an all-out jam session. truthfully I think Prince is the only artist I think that can probably pull this off what do you think royal family? |

Cool idea, but I doubt Prince would want to pay two bands and practice with them. Bad economics. But no doubt it would be a fantastic event! RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

sounds like my idea of 2 stages opposite each other .....3rd eye girl on one stage and NPG on other for the funk show...audience in the middle......fans can then choose what sound they prefer |

Not all fans only like 30 year old songs. [Edited 12/31/15 14:26pm] |

Too many songs to perform in one night, but "best of" would be great, especially with the NPG, since the Revolution material has been performed so often.

For the Revolution set 'Best of' would not work then. And so many songs from that era haven't been performed much after the 80s
Since most of them span the 1978-1988 years I would include an expanded band with Sheila E Eric & Eddie M Jill Cat Brenda Bennet Morris & Jerome
Around the World in a Day Paisley Park Alexis de Paris Girls & Boys Mountains 17 Days do some Dream Factory/SOTT songs I Wish U Heaven Glam Slam etc |

Throw in the extended versions of America and A Love Bizarre and I'm all in!

That would be a fairer contest, let the NPG come up with their own dream list. |
