I know it isn't his most famous song. But damn, I can't stop listening to it as soon as I put it on. I loop it over and over and over and over...........

I really think it's his best funk jam (and that's saying alot!). The only negative about the song is the so called "girl" on the other line. What the hell Prince, we can tell it's you. For me this is a club banger, if you treat it correct. As a DJ I would mix in a small portion of the song in a set. You just need to feel that hot bassline, guitar and overall nasty funk fusion that's going on. Godamn, this is hot!

Yes,this song is extremely funky.....and hilarious too! I think Brenda gets the best lines.I think the Vanity 6 album was ahead of its time.On this track,it's almost like a rap number...at a time when there weren't alot of female rappers.

Great song (and great album)! Prince be actin a fool on this cut and it amuses me to this day.

A year or two back, I got out my V6 cd to listen to after a multi-year hiatus and it still sounded so good to me. "Wet Dream" was as fresh as ever to my ears. Like a day hadn't gone by since I first bought the album. Still adore that song.
