Welcome to the Midnight Blues, Plectrum Heads

I tell ya, those few weeks in 2013 with the live streams were incredible. Some of the music was just incredible and obviously it was bound to end but what fun that was.

highlights for me:

Sticky Like Glue rehearsal

Sign a Simple Song rehearsal

next to me-musicology-mama feelgood-extraloveable long jam

extraloveable rehearsal

u got the look rehearsal

sing a simple song rehearsal

dancing machine-partyman-it's alright jam

Midnight Blues

Goodnite Plectrum Heads

Menstrual Cycle

octopus heart rehearsal

sex machine (hendrix)

PFunk rehearsal

hidden colors rehearsal

strays of the world rehearsal

brown skin rehearsal

anyway, those were the late nights of wild. never forget them. And this just proved to me what kind of amazing stuff is in the vaults.............

The shows did have some good stuff--but what did they have to do with the vaults? There were a few old live tracks that popped up, but mostly they were either live to stream or pretty recent material. While he was doing those shows, I wasn't thinking too much about the stuff he might have stuck back somewhere.

If the live streams were an indication of the creativity that goes on at PP, then I agree with friend2001 that it suggest that there must be tons of great material in the vault, from all parts of Prince's career.

The wooh is on the one!

Outside of Sticky Like Glue & Midnight Blues the others didn't move the needle for me. I'd love for him to insert SLG to his next live set, great old school funk track
